HOW WE PRESS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Cold Pressed Oils
Most oils on the market are produced using high speed industrial presses designed for maximum output. As pressing speed increases, friction increases as well, and friction naturally raises temperature during the process.
Our oils are pressed slowly from raw nuts and seeds using our Caprolon PRESS™ barrel, a system designed to reduce mechanical stress and friction during pressing.
Temperature is carefully controlled and kept below 30°C, helping preserve delicate fatty acids, natural vitamin E, and the original flavor of the seeds and nuts.
We press each batch only once. Instead of reheating or reprocessing the material to extract every possible drop, we focus on preserving the quality of the oil that flows naturally during the first pressing.
The result is oil that stays closer to the way nature created it: rich in aroma, balanced in flavor, and full of the natural character of the seeds.

Nut Butters
Most commercial nut butters are produced using high speed grinders designed for efficiency and large volume production. The faster the process runs, the more heat is generated, which can affect the natural flavor and texture of the nuts. Our nut butters are made very differently. We use slow stone grinding that runs for many hours, allowing the nuts to gradually transform into a smooth and naturally creamy paste without excessive heat.
The slow process helps preserve the natural oils, aroma, and nutrients of the nuts while developing a deeper and more balanced flavor. We do not add palm oil, stabilizers, or emulsifiers. The texture comes only from the nuts themselves and the patience of slow grinding. Each batch is made in small quantities and crafted in Seattle, allowing us to focus on quality rather than speed.

Tahini
Tahini is made from sesame seeds that are gently ground into a smooth, rich paste. While many commercial tahini products are processed quickly for large scale production, we take a slower and more careful approach.
Our sesame seeds are processed gradually to allow their natural oils to release slowly, creating a creamy texture and a deep, nutty flavor that reflects the true character of the seeds.
We do not add stabilizers, emulsifiers, or other ingredients. Tahini is simply sesame seeds transformed through careful grinding.
The slow process helps preserve the natural aroma and nutrients of the seeds while producing a balanced flavor that works beautifully in both savory and sweet dishes.
Each batch is made in small quantities in Seattle, allowing us to focus on quality, texture, and the natural taste of sesame.
